In accordance with the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers dated 05.22.2018 No. 385, the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development, together with ministries and departments, carried out a lot of work to create a unified calendar of cultural and entertainment and mass sports events in 2020.

On October 25-25, 2019, in Nukus city the High-level International conference “On declaring Aral Sea Region as an environmental zone of innovation and technology” was held by the initiative of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and under the auspices of the United Nations.

On December 23, 2019, the Mission of the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE / ODIHR) published on the official website the Statement of preliminary findings and conclusions from the monitoring results of parliamentary elections in Uzbekistan from November 25 to December 23 this year.

On December 8, 2019 Uzbekistan celebrated the 27th anniversary of adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
