Following productive high-level talks, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a Joint Statement.

A solemn ceremony took place at the Kuksaroy Residence to award President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov with the highest state honor of the Republic of Uzbekistan - the Order of “Oliy Darajali Dustlik”.

Following high-level talks, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in the ceremony for the launch of the joint “Shavat-Dashoguz” cross-border trade zone.

Negotiations of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov continued in an expanded format with participation of official delegations of the two countries. 

On November 17, negotiations were held between President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov in a narrow format at the Kuksaroy Residence.

Central Asia is entering a new, historically significant stage of its development. Today, we are moving toward genuine unity. For the first time in many years, an atmosphere of trust, good-neighborliness, and mutual respect is taking shape in our region — an atmosphere that serves as a solid foundation for joint progress.

A historic summit of Central Asian countries has concluded in Tashkent.

On November 16, following the seventh Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia, a Joint Statement was adopted.
