On April 15, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited public festivities organized in “Yangi Uzbekiston” park in Andijan. 

Andijan is the country's most densely populated city: 10 percent of Uzbekistan's population lives in just 1 percent of its territory. In this regard, on the initiative of the President, construction of a new city was launched in 2021. During the current trip, the Head of State got acquainted with the first results of the realization of this large-scale project.
