On September 2, representatives of state organizations and the public in Tashkent met to honor the memory of Islam Karimov.

In accordance with the orders of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, representatives of various spheres were awarded honorary degrees, orders and medals. The award ceremony was held on August 30 at the Kuksaroy Residence.

On August 30, a telephone conversation took place between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
