The government delegation of Kyrgyzstan arrives in Uzbekistan

TASHKENT, March 25. /“Dunyo” IA/. A delegation of Kyrgyzstan led by Prime Minister Ulukbek Maripov is arriving in Uzbekistan today to hold bilateral talks, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

It is planned to hold the 9th meeting of the Joint Commission on Bilateral Cooperation under the chairmanship of the Heads of Government of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan

The delegation of Kyrgyzstan, which includes the heads of ministries and agencies, will visit high-tech enterprises in Tashkent. The guests will get acquainted with production and manufactured products.

On March 24, a videoconference was held under the chairmanship of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to discuss the upcoming work within the framework of Obod Qishloq and Obod Mahalla Programs.

TASHKENT, March 23. /“Dunyo” IA/. The summit of the Turkic Council, scheduled for March 31 in the city of Turkestan (Kazakhstan), will be held via videoconference, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

On March 23, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received international consultants – Alfred Gusenbauer, Aleksander Kwaśniewski and Štefan Füle.

The negative impact of the global coronavirus pandemic has not spared the economy of Uzbekistan either. In order to ensure the safety of public health in 2020, it was necessary to introduce a number of restrictions based on the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the situation in the country. This led to a decrease in the income of enterprises in some sectors and to some economic losses.

On 29 December 2020, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev addressed the Oliy Majlis and the people of Uzbekistan. In his Address, the Head of the state-defined further goals and set the most important tasks aimed at ensuring a consistent increase in the level of welfare and wellbeing of the country's population.

The analysis of the reforms and changes undertaken in Uzbekistan demonstrate that a new model of society and state relations is being shaped.
