At the invitation of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic Robert Fico will pay an official visit to our country on June 8-10.

In a telephone conversation held on June 7, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif exchanged warm greetings on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, the holy holiday for the entire Muslim Ummah. The leaders wished wellbeing and prosperity to the friendly peoples of Uzbekistan and Pakistan.

On June 7, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation of foreign investors consisting of chairman of the board of “Al Mirqab Capital” Hamad bin Jassim Al-Thani and senior managing director of “Blackrock” investment company Adebayo Ogunlesi.

In connection with the holy holiday of Qurban Hayit - Eid al-Adha, which occupies an important place in our spiritual life and embodies such noble qualities as mercy, generosity, kindness and responsiveness inherent in our people, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has received congratulatory messages from heads of foreign states and governments, heads of authoritative international organizations and regional structures.

SAMSUN, June 5. /Dunyo IA/. As part of a working visit to the Turkish city of Samsun, diplomats from the Embassy of Uzbekistan and the Consulate General in Istanbul met with young Uzbek compatriots studying at Ondokuz Mayıs University and Samsun University, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Since 2017, Uzbekistan has been implementing wide-ranging reforms in the energy sector aimed at increasing efficiency, modernizing infrastructure, and transitioning to market-based mechanisms.
