Trade, economic, investment, and tourism potential of Uzbekistan presented in Türkiye

ANKARA, February 23. /Dunyo IA/. Entrepreneurs from Türkiye’s Burdur region were introduced to Uzbekistan’s trade, economic, investment, and tourism potential during an event organized by the diplomatic missions of Uzbekistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The event was attended by Yusuf Keyik, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Burdur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, members of the Board of Directors, and more than 50 regional entrepreneurs.

The event focused on discussing additional opportunities for developing mutual trade and the prospects for joint project implementation. In particular, there was an exchange of views on experience sharing and the activation of contacts in sectors such as agriculture, food industry, construction, building materials production, electrical engineering, and furniture manufacturing.

During the visit to the Burdur region, diplomats familiarized themselves with the activities of large local enterprises and held negotiations with their management.

Negotiations were held with the leadership of companies such as "Orallar Group", operating in agriculture, construction, and information technologies; "ECTS Makina", which manufactures greenhouse equipment; "Avoya", working in the food industry; and Chichekmersan Marble, which produces marble. Opportunities for implementing new joint projects with these companies in Uzbekistan were also explored.

As a result of the event, an agreement was reached to organize a visit by a delegation led by Yusuf Keyik, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Burdur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, to Uzbekistan in the second quarter of 2025 to explore cooperation opportunities.
