The II International Youth Congress will be held in Kashkadarya

On August 7-11, the II International Congress of Youth Tourism will be held at the children's wellness retreat “Lochin” in the Shahrisabz District, Kashkadarya region, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

According to the portal Uzbektourism.uz, the event is expected to be attended by young people from countries such as Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Turkey, as well as regions and cities fraternized with Kashkadarya.

The grand opening ceremony of the congress will be held on August 8 in the Oksaroy complex of Shahrisabz.

The International Congress also involved more than 50 talented, socially vulnerable people from every region of our country, including young people with disabilities and students and students included in the “youth book”.

For five days, guests are expected from each other interesting events. Among them are a number of events such as competitions, presentations, meetings, Campaign, project and reading days, sports competitions in national and ethnic sports, cultural and entertainment, organization of business for young people, round tables for the preparation of handicrafts, creative dialogues of famous theater and filmmakers with young people, meetings of participants with representatives of the diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan.

It should be noted that the event is held in order to ensure the implementation of the decisions of the head of our state “on additional measures to diversify domestic tourism services” and “on additional measures to rapidly develop the tourism potential of the Republic and further increase the number of domestic and foreign tourists”.

At the end of the event, young people and teams who have actively participated will be awarded honorary certificates and souvenirs.

At the same time, each of the participants of the II International Youth Congress is assigned special certificates from the Tourism Committee.

For reference: in 2022, the I International Congress "Youth Tourism" was held in the Kashkadarya region, in the Shakhrisabz district.
