Meeting with the prominent historian of Uzbekistan of the Temurids period

On November 20, 2019, the Embassy held a creative meeting with an outstanding Uzbek scientist, doctor of historical sciences, professor, Ulzjaeva Shokhista Mamadzhanovna. During the event, participants exchanged views on the history of Uzbek diplomacy, about the campaign of Amir Temur to Anatolia, relations between the Temurids and the Ottoman Empire. An outstanding scientist was presented with a specially prepared copy of historical documents from the history of Temurids diplomacy, found in the Turkish State Archive. As a result, it was decided to continue cooperation in this direction.
