New investment agreements and trade contracts signed during the Uzbek-Turkish Business Forum in Ankara

TASHKENT, June 6. /Dunyo IA/. Yesterday, on the eve of the official visit of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Türkiye, Laziz Kudratov, Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade, as part of the Uzbek delegation, participated in a series of events held in Ankara within the framework of the third session of the Uzbek-Turkish High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade, based on the analysis results, during the Uzbek-Turkish Business Forum, negotiations were held with leaders of major Turkish companies such as Onur Group, IC Ictas Insaat, YDA Group, Rönesans Holding, Ostim, Doğan Holding, Aksa Energy, Çalık Holding, Akfen Holding, Yildiz Group, and others.

A constructive exchange of views led to agreements on the implementation of projects in areas such as agriculture, healthcare, textiles, geology, electrical engineering, pharmaceuticals, leather and footwear production, construction, and energy.

Laziz Kudratov also took part in the plenary session of the Forum, where more than 100 representatives of the business communities, ministry heads, department officials, and industry associations of both countries had the opportunity to thoroughly examine the current state and prospects for the development of economic cooperation. They discussed solutions to pressing issues, practical aspects of partnership in B2B and G2B formats, and established new valuable connections.

On the sidelines of the Forum, a signing ceremony took place for investment agreements and trade contracts, and delegations from both countries visited the "Invest in Uzbekistan" exhibition organized at the building of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB).

At the end of a productive day, both new companies and long-standing partners of Uzbekistan highly appreciated the efforts made in Uzbekistan to improve the investment climate and create favorable conditions for investors. They expressed their readiness to further develop investment and trade interactions with Uzbek partners.
