Iftar in Istanbul: Uzbekistan strengthens ties with Turkish and international investors

ISTANBUL, April 1. /Dunyo IA/. The Consulate General of Uzbekistan, in collaboration with the media company "Bosfor Global Media" and the Silivri Financial Development Consultants Association, organized an iftar aimed at promoting Uzbekistan's investment opportunities, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The event was attended by local and foreign entrepreneurs, representatives of non-governmental organizations, journalists, and other interested parties.

Consulate General staff provided detailed information to entrepreneurs about the investment climate in Uzbekistan, the opportunities and incentives available for foreign investors, and the key factors contributing to the country's appeal for tourism.

Particular attention was given to the reforms in Uzbekistan related to the protection of private property, legal guarantees, active investment policies, as well as tax incentives, industrial zones, special economic zones, the reduction of bureaucratic barriers, the transparency of licensing processes, legal protection for investors, and the possibility of quick registration through electronic state services.

To attract tourists, informational materials were distributed about the historical and cultural wealth of cities such as Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, and Kokand, as well as about "halal tourism", gastronomic tours, and routes related to Islamic heritage.
