The Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Turkey opened in 1992. The legal status was established by signing the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of the Republic of Turkey on real estate and financial opportunities of 1995.
Visitors visit the Embassy daily on various issues of interest. The mission team carries out political and diplomatic work, including on a systematic basis, briefings, seminars and conferences, as well as carries out regular visits to major tourist, industrial, cultural and trade and economic regions of Turkey.
Currently, the Embassy is temporarily located in the Çankaya - Yıldız district, Sancak mahalla, 549 No. 3 street.
Together with Turkish partners, work has begun on the construction of a new Embassy building in the prestigious Oran district. It is planned to include the forms of modern and rapidly developing Uzbekistan in the design of the new building, taking into account elements of architectural monuments in the Art Nouveau style with hi-tech elements.
